Fat Boy Izzo — a video-forward personality site where the brand does the selling

A loud, video-forward personality site where the brand carries the whole experience.

01

The situation

An entertainment brand lives or dies on personality. A restrained, corporate layout would have actively worked against it.

The challenge was doing that without a heavy, slow site — the audience is almost entirely on mobile data.

02

What I built

  • Bold visual identity applied across the site
  • Video-forward layouts with edited clips as the primary content
  • Booking and contact paths kept visible throughout
  • Compression, poster frames and lazy-loading so the experience stays fast

03

How it works

Video does the storytelling, so the layout is built around clip framing rather than text blocks. Each section leads with motion and lets copy stay short.

Weight was the real engineering problem. Clips are compressed and served with poster frames, nothing below the fold loads until needed, and autoplay is muted and reduced for anyone who prefers less motion.

Booking never drifts more than a screen away, because attention on this kind of site is short and intent is impulsive.
